A custom version
Hire for the work you never get to. Have them start today.
You are the bottleneck and you already know it. Every part of this business that only moves when you touch it is queued behind the same person, and the only answer anybody ever offered was to hire, which costs money you might not have and time you certainly do not.
Every employee in the office is AI. Foundry marks that on the message itself, so the name you choose never has to carry the honesty.
Guided workflow
SampleStart from a template, then make it yours.
What is actually hard about it
The only way to add capacity was to add a person
Hiring is slow, expensive and hard to undo, and most of the work waiting on you is none of those things. So it waits, or it lands on you at nine at night, and the business keeps running at the speed of one person because that is the only speed it was ever sold.
What it does today
This part is already here.
You hire from a door of roles that already know their job
Front desk, operations assistant, job coordinator, sales assistant, quotes and proposals, bookkeeper, web and brand, field coordinator. Each arrives understanding what its work is, so the first thing you do is not write a job description into an empty box.
You name them, and the name is entirely yours
Any name you like, a human one included. A seat nobody has named yet wears its job as its label and asks you once, calmly, on the first open. Wave it away and it never asks again; name it and the question disappears everywhere at once.
They are not all the same person
The sample you can talk to below comes two ways: one sharp and quick, one unbothered and dry. They are equally good and equally bound by the same rules, because the difference is who you would rather have at the next desk and nothing else at all.
What they are is marked by the system, never left to the name
Whether a message came from a person or from an AI employee is recorded as its own fact on that message. So you can call one whatever you like and still never be in any doubt about who wrote the answer you are reading.
Each one has a room, and you talk to it there
One conversation per employee, in its own place, the way you would talk to somebody who sits at that desk. Not a chat box bolted onto the side of a settings page.
You can mention somebody, and the mention survives a rename
A mention is stored as the seat it points at rather than as the letters you typed. Rename somebody and every message that ever mentioned them reads correctly, which is the difference between a mention and an @ sign.
Every message carries what happened to it
Created, read, refiled, done, dismissed, promoted to a task, answered. The answered mark is written by the database at the moment an answer exists and carries no person, because an assistant is not one and the record should not imply it was.
How much of their answers you read first is your decision, not ours
Send answers straight through, see each one and choose whether it goes, or require that a person reads every one before it reaches anybody. The office can set a floor that nobody underneath it can loosen, and the screen tells you what is actually happening to your answers rather than only what you selected.
Answering is a setting. DOING something is never one.
Whatever you choose about answers, nothing gets written or sent on your behalf without you. Work arrives as something to approve, and anything that would go out or cannot be undone stops and waits for you specifically. That half is not a preference and there is no switch for it.
Seats sit in departments, so an office reads like an office
Operations, Marketing & Sales, Tech, Finance, and Field & Production. The names are settled so that walking into one business's office feels like walking into another, and where each seat sits is still yours to arrange.
Not here yet
That is what we are building Foundry to be.
Everything under this heading is a thing we are building and have not shipped. It is here because you should be able to see where this is going, and separated because you should never have to guess which half of a page is a promise.
The face that talks
An employee you can see and hear, with a face you pick, is chartered and being designed. Today it is a name, a room and words on a screen. We would rather tell you that than put a picture of somebody who does not exist on the page.
What a single job costs, shown before you agree to it
Charging for a piece of work rather than for tokens nobody outside this building thinks in is the shape we are building toward. The seam for it is named in the code and armed nowhere, so nothing is metered on it, and no number goes on a screen before the measured cost behind it exists.
The work coming out of the conversation on its own
Pulling the tasks out of what you actually said, and handing work over by talking instead of typing, are both queued rather than shipped. Today a message becomes a task because a person promoted it, and that is worth saying plainly.
What changes
The business stops running at one person's speed
You still decide what matters and you still set what good looks like. What changes is that saying it once is enough, because for the first time there is somebody to say it to.
Talk to a sample employee, and pick which one
Scale your business. Not your tech team.
We are opening Foundry in waves. Tell us about your business and we will come to you.
