Questions owners ask

How can a small service business automate quoting, follow-up and texting without hiring an office manager?

Start with the tools you already pay for. Most phone and field-service apps can send a text when you miss a call, remind a customer about a quote, and ask for a review after a job. The settings are often there but switched off. Foundry turns them on and sets them up for you in your own account. If your app can't do something, we tell you before you pay.

What is missed-call text-back?

When a call to your business number goes unanswered, the caller gets a short text from your number, usually within a minute, saying you missed them and asking what they need. It is a one-to-one reply to someone who just called you, not a marketing text. You can set it up yourself with our free guide, or we can do it as part of the $497 Install.

Who sets up missed-call text-back for contractors and service businesses in Charlotte, NC?

Foundry does. We're based in Charlotte, NC and set it up inside the phone or field-service app you already use, along with a same-day review request and an AI assistant loaded with your business details. The Install is $497, including the first 30 days of care, then $147/mo. Email sales@thefoundrynet.io.

How do I follow up on quotes that went cold?

Make a list of every quote from the last 90 days with no answer. Send each one a short, friendly note that asks a yes-or-no question, then one more a week later. Stop there. If you'd rather hand it off, our Quote Rescue Sprint does this for you: $397 for the first 5 businesses through Nov 15, 2026, then $750, with $197/mo after the Sprint for ongoing follow-up.

How do I automatically ask customers for Google reviews?

Get your Google review link from your Business Profile, then set your phone or field-service app to text it to the customer the same day a job is marked finished. Ask every customer, not only the happy ones; Google's rules don't allow picking who gets asked. The Install sets this up for you.

Do I need new software?

Usually not. We work in the phone or field-service app you already pay for whenever it can do the job. Foundry's base tools are free if you want them; premium features and custom builds are paid.

What does it cost?

Install: $497 including 30 days of care, then $147/mo, plus $49 for compliance if carrier registration for business texting is needed. Quote Rescue Sprint: $397 for the first 5 businesses through Nov 15, 2026, then $750, then $197/mo. Job Review: $97, credited toward the Install or the $750 Sprint within 14 days. Social: $197 setup, then $297/mo.

Not sure where to start?

Book the $97 Job Review. We trace one recent job from the first call to getting paid and tell you the 1 to 3 fixes worth making first. If you go ahead with the Install or the $750 Sprint within 14 days, the $97 is credited.

Do you promise more jobs or more reviews?

No. We set things up correctly and check that they work. How many customers reply, book, or leave a review depends on your business and your customers, and we won't put a number on it.

What is the $49 compliance fee?

US carriers require businesses that text customers from an app to register first (often called A2P 10DLC registration). If your phone app needs that registration, we handle the paperwork for $49. If it doesn't, there is no fee.

Do you only work with Charlotte businesses?

We're based in Charlotte, NC and focus on owner-led service businesses here. Because the work happens inside your own apps, we can also do it remotely.
